Thoughts of the day! June 23, 2009

Love is precious as our time is. Each day we take for granted what we have around us and sometimes even those people that are part of our lives that are important to us. When we lose someone that is important it creates a hole in our world that sometimes doesnt' ever get filled. I first started a blog when I was going through a very nasty divorce as a way to vent and to have a way of later reading what I had to go through during this bad time in my life. You see... this man that I had been married to for 28 years cheated on me with several women. I found out by one of them posting pictures of them together and later finding pictures of them together in the house that we lived in together for 27 of those years. But that is in the past. Now is the future. I have also lost a dear friend recently. The funeral was a celebration,..... not a sad state of affairs as most funerals were. The divorce was like a funeral of a marriage that didnt have a chance because of several factors that were beyond my control and now I realize that. God puts us through bad things sometimes to make us stronger and to come closer to him... and it did. I have loved 3 times in my life... the first to someone who was very very wrong for me and later realized why., The second to someone who was a taker( and almost destroyed me) and now to someone who is kind, gentle, thoughtful, strong, a Christian that show all of the signs of the 7 fruits of the spirit. It is a different relationship this time... it is a relationship that is full of joy,happiness, and the desire to make the most of our time together. What is my point you are saying? Take time to make the most of your time here on this earth. Do something for others, share what you have, take care of the enviroment around you and be happy.... That is what is so very important... Be happy in whatever you do because it does reflect to others.. God Bless each of you
